Thompson & Knight Partner Named to Dallas Wind Symphony Board of Trustees

The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Partner Richard B. Phillips, Jr. of the Firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court Practice Group has been named to the Board of Trustees for the Dallas Wind Symphony (“DWS”).

Phillips has represented a variety of clients in appeals before Texas courts of appeal, the Texas Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. and has been named to the Texas Rising Stars® from 2007-2012. Prior to joining Thompson & Knight, he served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Thomas R. Phillips, Chief Justice, of the Texas Supreme Court. Phillips is a co-author of Texas Appellate Watch, a blog focused on developments in Texas appellate law.
