Andreas Zmuda und Doreen Kroeber will touch down tomorrow at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin/USA to participate at the EAA AirVenture, the world’s largest annual gathering of aviation enthusiasts. Pilots around the globe are enthusiastic following up there world record attempt, what started at Zephryhills, Florida/USA and ends April 2015 at Sydney / Australia.
The first EAA Airventure fly-in was held in 1953 in Hales Corners, Wisconsin (near Milwaukee). In 1959, EAA fly-in moved to Rockford, Illinois. When it outgrew its facilities at the Rockford airport, the EAA fly-in moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 1970: http://www.airventure.org/
