“Voices of America in One Room” Podcast Now Available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts
The Center for Deliberative Democracy at Stanford University launches podcast series

[Stanford, CA]: On March 22, 2021, The Center for Deliberative Democracy at Stanford University (CDD), in partnership with Tobe Agency, launched a podcast series based on America in One Room, the 2019 Deliberative Polling experiment that brought together over 500 U.S. registered voters, to talk about important issues currently being faced throughout the country. The America in One Room event was reported on by major news outlets, such as The New York Times and CNN, and was even tweeted about by former President Barack Obama. The event also found great popularity on multimedia messaging platform Snapchat, with the eight-part America in One Room documentary series garnering more than 15,000 subscribers.

The podcast series — entitled “Voices of America in One Room” — consists of follow-up interviews with participants who attended the event. Season 1 of the podcast series features eight episodes, culminating with an interview with Daniel Lubetzky, Founder and Executive Chairman of KIND.

The primary talking points of this podcast series center around the same topics discussed during the America in One Room event in 2019. Topics discussed include the economy, the environment, and immigration issues here in the United States.

Voices of America in One Room can be subscribed to on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts.

The “Voices of America in One Room” trailer officially launched on Monday, March 22, 2021, and the first two episodes of the eight-part series were released four days later on Friday, March 26, 2021. Since then, one new episode has become available every Friday.
