Indie Rock Band This is she, Release Debut EP Nobody is Ok July 3rd

Featuring the powerful single “grow up”

Los Angeles, CA, June 28, 2012 - This Is She is about to turn lives upside down with the release of their new 6-song EP, Nobody Is Ok, gigs at mega events like Summerfest, a performance with Cobra Starship later this year and the release of their video for the single “Grow Up”. With success biting at their heels, This Is She steps outside the box of typical indie rock to deliver catchy hooks, driving rhythms and to create progressive rock n’ roll laced with pop, dubstep and electronica. This Is She is set to present their Nobody Is Ok EP to the rest of the world, available on iTunes July 3rd.

This Is She ensued when Alana Grace (vocals), Ryan Folden (drums) and Christian Paul Meadows (guitar) met while performing at Warped Tour 2009. Alana Grace began materializing the idea behind her next musical venture and enlisted Folden and Meadows to pursue the new vision to eventually become This Is She. The trio stepped away from the traditional aspects of an indie rock band tapping into the dark side of rock incorporating a passion for dubstep and electronica to create a style all their own. This Is She relishes in their unique, unparalleled sound and the inability to neatly fit into any genre. The band delivers a blend of blissful pop, heavily-distorted rock music, and the bombast of modern electronic dance music, all punctuated by Grace’s tortured, emotive, and always-soaring vocals.

This ultramodern rock n’ roll trio flawlessly delivers with their new single and video “Grow Up”. The song highlights Grace’s vocal elegance while morphing the powerful hard rock guitar riffs into memorizing and intense dubstep and electronica samples. The inspiration behind “Grow Up” is a derivative from Grace’s personal life and an old relationship. Pulling from inner emotions Grace delivers with piercing vocals and hypnotizing harmonies.

In 2011 the group was hard at work producing, writing and recording Nobody is Ok at their own studio and at Blackbird Studios in Nashville. This highly anticipated release of Nobody Is Ok EP is the perfect introductory to give the world a taste of This Is She, available July 3rd.
