Good Politics Radio Extends Deadline for “We the People” Award For Political Radio Excellence.
The “We the People” Award For Political Radio Excellence sponsored by Good Politics Radio is extending the deadline for submission of political radio shows. Shows to be considered for the award must be submitted by January 30, 2006. We invite all radio show hosts in traditional broadcast media as well as online radio broadcasts/podcasts to submit their best show for consideration.The radio show must have been aired during the year 2005 on either a traditional broadcast radio show or an Internet radio show and must be about something political on any political viewpoint. Winners will receive their awards in March, 2006 (date to be announced) in a televised broadcast that will be streamed on the internet. Winners in each category will receive a trophy, t-shirt and extensive promotion on Good Politics Radio and sister sites. The winner of the overall Best Political Radio Show of 2005 will receive a year free podcasting on the Good Politics Radio network as well as a major media blitz. Runner-ups will be featured on Good Politics Radio state pages as well as promoted as a part of the awards process.
Winners will be determined according to votes tallied on the Good Politics Radio website by Good Politics Radio listeners in over 30 countries worldwide. In the month of November 2005, over 50,000 podcasts were downloaded from the Good Politics Radio site as well as feeder sites such as Ipodder, Odeo, and Itunes.
