Stevens-Henager College Rolls Out Business Management and Accounting Program with Retail Sales Management Emphasis

Candidates interested in this profession can acquire the skills needed at Stevens-Henager College, now that the school has rolled out its Associate’s of Applied Science in Business Management and Accounting degree with a Retail Sales Management emphasis.

The degree program is designed to train graduates in various aspects of retail sales, including customer service skills, sales strategies, human resources management in a retail environment, industry trends, etc.

The program covers topics such as Introduction to Retail Sales Management, Communication in Selling, Managing Retail Teams, Procurement, Logistics, and Merchandising to fully prepare graduates for a career in retail.

After they graduate from this associate’s degree program, students have the skills and proficiencies they need to assume entry- to mid-level positions in a retail store.

The objective of this degree is to provide graduates the competencies for a host of starter-level business roles, in addition to preparing them for a career in retail management.

The scheduled length of this AAS program in business management and accounting is 20 months, but candidates interested joining the workforce sooner can earn this degree in less-than-normal completion time, which is 15 months.

They also have the option of taking classes online or on campus. The program is available at the Salt Lake City/Murray, Provo/Orem, and Boise campuses of Stevens-Henager College, as well as their respective satellites in Lehi and Nampa.
