Press release from: DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG

• Intensification of the existing successful cooperation
• Synergies in the fields of marketing, sponsorships and A&R
• New media as a further focus of cooperation
• Shareholding of DEAG in Cruiser Entertainment possible

Berlin - June 20, 2012: DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG (ISIN DE000A0Z23G6) has entered into a long-term cooperation agreement with Cruiser Entertainment GmbH, which involves the DEAG subsidiary DEAG Music. The companies build on an already proven cooperation in various projects. For DEAG, the cooperation means additional opportunities in sponsoring and marketing, more particularly also in the digital field and in new media. Successful joint projects were already implemented in the past, for instance by including YouTube.

In addition, close cooperation in the field of Artists & Repertoire (A&R) is planned, with which DEAG is given flexible access to efficient resources and an additional network. Moreover, Cruiser Entertainment will act as a representative office for the DEAG Music label in Hamburg. The cooperation does not involve higher fixed costs, so that on the variable level synergies can be tapped, which have a direct impact on sales revenues and results. Furthermore, the partners have already contractually agreed that DEAG will be granted an option to acquire a significant stake in Cruiser Entertainment GmbH in future.

Cruiser Entertainment was set up in 2001 by the successful music manager and former managing director of BMG Hamburg, Eckhart Gundel. The company specializes in the concept, production, licensing and realization of contents in the fields of Music, Word, Video and Special Interest.
