Hannover, Germany. 4th March 2021: To help food manufacturers address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, global food safety information and events platform, Food Safety Exchange (FSX) www.foodsafetyexchange.com is publishing a series of educational articles. The first in the series is written by food and drink journalist Simon Creasey who discusses the role that the food industry has in tackling coronavirus. The article touches on how the coronavirus pandemic is a wake-up call for the food industry and the long-lasting effects it will have on this sector.

This will be followed by an article focusing on how consumer behaviour has changed due to the pandemic and the impact that this has on food producers. Then a podcast will discuss the potential impact that the coronavirus pandemic has on food fraud.

“How the coronavirus pandemic has impacted the food industry is a hot topic now and will continue to be so for the unforeseen future. As part of the FSX’s ethos to be a platform to exchange industry information, it is great to share such articles and experiences from food industry experts,” said Bjoern Matz, Marketing Manager, Food Safety Exchange. “If anyone else would like to communicate about the lessons that they have learnt from working within the restrictions that COVID-19 has brought then I would encourage them to get in contact so we can help share their knowledge”.

The Transcreener GDP GTPase assay is a homogenous, fluorescent immunoassay that monitors the activity of GTPases along with GEF and GAP partners. The assay directly measures the amount of GDP produced in an in vitro GTPase reaction. BellBrook Labs' Transcreener GDP GTPase assays are available with fluorescence polarization (FP), fluorescence intensity (FI), and far-red, time-resolved Forster-resonance-energy-transfer (TR-FRET) readouts that provide a safe, HTS-compatible alternative to cumbersome radioassay methods and are more
