Initial Exhibitor Roster Announced For The Ellis Boston

Having relaunched The Ellis Boston Antiques Show in 2011, the show's producers, Tony Fusco and Robert Four, are pleased to announce the second annual show will take place on October 18-21, 2012 at The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for The Arts. The show will feature 40 exhibitors of the highest quality, drawn from both past Ellis exhibitors as well as many new additions. The show opens with a Gala Preview on Thursday, October 18 to benefit Ellis Memorial, Boston's first settlement house. Located in Boston's South End, just a two-minute walk from the Cyclorama, Ellis Memorial has been caring for children, disabled adults, and families who live and work in the South End and adjacent neighborhoods since 1885. For additional information, visit the show's website at www.EllisBoston.com or call 617-363-0405.

Exhibitors for the 2012 show will include both former Ellis exhibitors and new additions, including: Arader Galleries (NY), Bell-Time Clocks (MA), Boston Rare Maps (MA), Sue Brown (UK), Alfred Bullard (PA), Essex Antiquarians (MA), Fiske & Freeman (MA), Framont (CT), Roberto Freitas American Antiques (CT), Funston Antiques (MA), J. Gallagher Antiques (NY), Georgian Manor Antiques (MA), Arthur Guy Kaplan (MD), Landry & Arcari Oriental Rugs (MA), Polly Latham Asian Art (MA), Robert Lloyd (NY), Marcoz Antiques (MA), Margaret Doyle Antiques (MA), Port 'N Starboard (ME), Sallea Antiques (CT), W.M. Schwind, Jr. (ME), Stephen Score (MA), G.R. Sergeant Antiques (CT), Andrew Spindler Antiques (MA), Trianon Antiques (MA), Ed Weissman Antiquarian (NH), William Vareika Fine Arts (RI), Vose Galleries (MA), Charles L. Washburne Antiques (PA), and Alexander Westerhoff Antiques (MA).

"We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to our relaunch of the Ellis Boston Antiques Show, and grateful to the many exhibitors, sponsors, collectors and patrons who have shown their support for bringing a world class antiques show back to Boston," comments co-producer Tony Fusco. "We will have other exciting announcements in the months ahead, building on an important tradition that spanned half of a century while shaping a show for the future."

The Cyclorama provides the ideal venue for this exciting show. A large circular rotunda and adjacent salons encourage visitors to both linger and wander. The historic structure is located in the heart of the BCA complex, which boasts four theatres, a gallery, the Boston Ballet School, 50 artist studios and other facilities. There are more than a dozen "hot" restaurants and nightspots within a five-minute walk, making it a focal point for cultural life in the city.

“We're thrilled to have The Ellis Boston Antiques Show back in the Cyclorama where the old Ellis started," notes Fusco.
