(WASHINGTON, DC) – Mayor Muriel Bowser proclaimed Sunday, February 21, 2021, “Business Story Day” in Washington, DC.
In celebration of this day, GO Global is holding a virtual event for the members of the press and the public on February 21, 2021 at 3 PM EST. The event will feature community business leaders sharing their business stories and will also provide ideas on how businesses in the district can use their own stories as a tool for building a strong inclusive local economy.

WHEREAS, February 21, 2021 has been designated as Business Story Day by GO GLOBAL LLC, founded by Gbenga Ogunjimi, to celebrate and recognize the stories of business leaders and their contributions to the Washington, DC Metropolitan areas; and
WHEREAS, Business Story Day increases awareness of the roles business leaders and entrepreneurs play in the economic prosperity of DC communities; and
WHEREAS, local businesses continue to be one of the primary means through which entrepreneurs build thriving communities and share their visions for the communities they serve; and
WHEREAS, Washington, DC is home to entrepreneurs from diverse cultural backgrounds with unique perspectives and inspirational stories which help to foster new innovations and build a strong inclusive local economy; and
WHEREAS, Business Story Day is an opportunity to recognize Washington, DC as a welcoming city for entrepreneurs, innovative ideas, and where business success stories are possible:
