Silk Stem Collective wins $10,000 Amber Grant to Support Women in Business

“We have big plans for these funds,” says founder Amanda Rapacz. “One of our main goals for 2021 is to get our name out there by providing an amazing product that encourages creativity and individuality. We believe everyone deserves beautiful wedding florals and we want to be the leaders of inclusion in an industry that struggles with diversity. This grant will allow us to invest in images and media that include a variety of populations. Everyone deserves to see images that resonate with them. We strive to serve a diverse population of couples”
The WomensNet Amber Grant Foundation awards monthly and annual grants through a competitive application and review process. Grants are awarded to women-owned businesses. Silk Stem Collective is the December 2020 recipient.

WomensNet founded the Amber Grant Foundation in 1998. The Foundation was set up with one goal in mind: The Amber Grants are awarded several times a year to deserving women entrepreneurs in loving memory of Amber Wigdahl, who died in 1981 at the young age of 19. Today, WomensNet carries on that tradition, giving away at least $10,000 every month in Amber Grant money. They have also expanded their grant-giving to include a year-end grant of $25,000.
