Wall of Fame takes Vellore Students by Intellectual Storm!

FIITJEE Global School, unveiled Vellore’s first Wall of Fame at its Vellore School Campus on the 20th of December 2020. The launch heralded the start of a merit identification & rewards contest for all children of Vellore & adjoining areas. Ever since the launch the student community is extremely excited and are participating in hordes. Up till now 6 contestants have made it to the Wall of Fame- 5 in Gold Petal category & 1 in Silver.
Children in the age group 3 to 14 years are invited online to participate in this fabulous contest and showcase their subject knowledge. Students can choose one favourite subject and play an Online Video Call quiz with subject specialist quizmasters. There are three levels- Silver, Gold and Diamond. At each level there are attractive prizes, medallions and gift hampers. Successful participants get featured in the Wall of Fame and become recognized throughout the city.
Vellore citizens may recall that The Wall of Fame was inaugurated by Mrs N Kamini- DIG Vellore range as chief guest. Special guests of honour were Mr C Murthy Executive Director, BHEL Ranipet and Mr Vijay Anandan CEO Taamaesek Consortium. It was attended by several bigwigs of Vellore and eminent journalists of Vellore graced the occasion to discover how Fiitjee Global School is transforming school education forever.
Contest Methodology- Each enrolled participant is requested for a Whatsapp video call-based test on the chosen subject in accordance to the grade the child is studying in. There are ten questions asked by the evaluating teacher. On scoring a certain percentage the student is classified under various Categories like Silver, Gold or Diamond. Attractive gifts, prizes and cash rewards are disbursed to the winners.
Participation Methods- Any Student or parent on behalf of the student can register in the contest through various means: i) By sending an SMS with text WOF to 8800884167 ii) By giving a missed call on 9513745200. iii) By logging in to the website https://fiitjeeglobalschool.com/vwof/ iv) Direct registration through Wall of Fame field team. v) Registration through our authorized Registration Centres in the city.
A URL would be sent to the participant via SMS or Whatsapp message. On clicking the URL, a registration form would open where the participant must enter the details like: Name, mobile number, subject preference for contest, grade & School. All proceeds from the contest registrations would go into charity to some pre-identified Government Relief Fund/Trust/NGO.
