Press release from: Stolendroids Media

SALT LAKE CITY, Ut. (November 20, 2020) - Salt Lake City-based multimedia group, Stolendroids, names former President, Collin Farmer as CEO. Farmer is succeeding founder and veteran CEO, Jeremiah Zohner, who will remain with Stolendroids as Executive Producer and Founder. Joining Farmer on the leadership team includes current Chief Operating Officer, Jake Dietz, who has been promoted to President, as well as newcomer Ben Fuller, who has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer.

Zohner, who founded Stolendroids in 2010, is credited with developing the original vision for Stoldendroids, and has been instrumental in establishing the strong community and culture it is known for. When Zohner decided it was time to step back and devote more time to his family, he could think of no better person to pass the torch to than Farmer.

“When it became apparent that I needed to step down as CEO of Stolendroids Media, there was only one person that I wanted to replace me. I have worked with Collin for years and have experienced his leadership, knowledge, and ability to innovate first hand. He is simply the right person for the job at this time.”

A New Era

Farmer and Dietz lead the initiative to transform the once solely, tech-focused podcast, Stolendroids, into a multimedia group that encompasses high-quality, geek-culture news and entertainment for all.

“Podcasts are about community and being able to relate to one another,” says Farmer. “I love building communities and I am so thankful to be in the position to help find the right people and provide them with the best tools and support they need to create meaningful content and engage with their audiences to expand our community.”

“We’re proud to announce Jake’s well-earned promotion to President,” says Farmer, a founding partner now CEO. Dietz has worked closely with Farmer over the past 3 years and is excited to continue the work to see the audience grow. “We’ve got good quality products with our podcasts and extremely passionate hosts, now the goal is to continue to improve and produce content to keep our community engaged and excited,” states Dietz.

To give the Stolendroids team access to the best tools and resources, Farmer and Dietz enlist the expertise of Ben Fuller, CRO, and his team Jennifer Irwin, Director of Marketing, and Katie Brown, Marketing Manager.

“This position really is a dream come true, explains Fuller. I’ve always loved the content produced by Stolendroids, so when Collin and Jake approached me with this opportunity the answer was an immediate yes. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to bring my expertise and my team on board to help Stolendroids gather the resources it needs to continue to grow.”

Stolendroids proudly hosts four, award-winning podcasts: Cutscenes and Cupcakes, Movies That Make Us, Multiplane Podcast, and Stolendroids Podcasts.

The media group also hosts the annual event, Utah Remote Con, benefiting the American Cancer Society. This multi-day, virtual event provides comic convention-style content and includes focused panel discussions that cover various Pop Culture topics.

“There is no better word to describe our community than phenomenal,” explains Dietz. “This event was a full team and community effort and we are still so honored to have had such extensive support for such a wonderful cause.”

Farmer and Dietz continue to focus their efforts to support their current partners and team members while seeking to cultivate the Stolendroids Content Creator Program. This program provides individuals who desire to create geek-based, tech-based, or game-based content an outlet to express their passions and grow their portfolio.

“All I’ve ever wanted to do is help people grow, says Farmer. I hope to use this position to provide people with opportunities and share my advice and support in every way possible.”
