LA Based Pop Artist Lea Marie Releases Sophomore EP “Undercover Lover” featuring CURRENT Contemporary Hit Radio Track “Take Me for a Ride”
Los Angeles, CA, May 05, 2012 - Ascending pop princess singer-songwriter Lea Marie is proud to announce her sophomore release "Undercover Lover", available May 22nd, 2012. This 6 Song EP features her dynamic dance tracks "Take Me For A Ride," and "Undercover Lover."
Lea Marie's 1st radio single from the EP "Take Me For A Ride," is currently making waves on the radio charts across the United States. Her uniquely original songwriting talent shines bright once again and is a great follow-up to her self-titled release. The party-on dance beat keeps things moving along with tongue-in-cheek lyrics as "Take Me For A Ride” drives its memorable chorus home and has received tens of thousands of views on YouTube in just two short weeks. The video is a humorous and entertaining song and depicts Lea Marie as a girl that's hot for the truck while the guy that’s driving it is waiting for her to focus some of her excitement in his direction and holds the viewer captive both melodically and lyrically with its catchy hook chorus.
Indie in the most multidimensional way, Lea Marie is a self-developed creative musical talent who writes all of her own songs. She strives for perfection, carefully crafting each run on piano and performing down to the last harmony on this new release with songs such as “Undercover Lover,” “Turning Me On,” and “Mi Chico Latino.”
“Songwriting is something that came naturally to me. It’s like songwriting would be the sun, with all the planets revolving around it. Songwriting is the center of my universe,” says Lea Marie about the writing of her EP.
