21K School - Connecting Classroom to Careers

India, November 2020: 21K School, India’s first online school offering highly personalized, structured, and child-led education programs for home-schoolers. The program is designed in-line with 21st century learning practices, allowing for a well-rounded education for students. Standing by its vision to reconceptualise the school experience, 21K School organised a training session on computational thinking by Cambridge University Press on Saturday, 21st November 2020.
Yeshwanth Raj Parasmal, Co-founder & Principal Director, 21K School comments, “The training to teach computational thinking was organised keeping in mind the wide scope and application of computational thinking, problem-solving and critical reasoning skills in our lives in the digital era. It is a skill that can be applied to any area of the curriculum from kindergarten to university level. Moreover, the government of India is planning to add it as a part of the curriculum in the near future.”
21K School has partnered with Cambridge University Press to offer this Program, where books are authored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) which is the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society.
The programme is planned to be incorporated in the second term and is to be made available to every student at no additional cost.
