iPad Magazine BIGRUSSIA: Russia Through Eyes of Foreigners Who Conduct Their Business There
BIGRUSSIA is an abbreviation for the Business Investment Guide to RUSSIA. An iPad magazine in English, German and Russian is available for free download from the App Store.
At the heart of BIGRUSSIA are the success stories, and otherwise, of American and European small and medium-sized businesses in Russia; the personal experiences of Americans and Europeans trading in Russia; tales and advice from foreigners building their careers in Russia. Not to mention: ideas for doing business in Russia; start-ups and existing infrastructure ripe for investment; companies and entire regions interested in cooperation.
The aim of this magazine is to provide advice and assistance to investors expanding into the Russian regions.
In this issue, recounting in detail their personal business experiences in the Russian Federation are: Vittorio Torrembini, President of GIM-Unimpresa (the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs operating in Russia); US citizen Marina Albee, proprietor of a vegetarian restaurant in St. Petersburg; Christian Courbois who founded a courier service in Russia with only 2,000 dollars in his pocket; Florence Gervais D´Aldin from France who built a 5.5 million euro greenhouse for cultivating flowers in Kaluga; Tassilo von der Decken, the German baron who established his agricultural business in Kaliningrad region; Aaron Block, investor in Bay.Ru; and vice-president of Young&Rubicam Russia, Max Tucker, who built a successful career in the Russian advertising business.
In this issue, BIGRUSSIA brings to the attention of investors the following projects: uniquely conceived at the Skolkovo Innovation Centre in Russia, compatible with the iPhone and any other mobile device, the DO-RA is the world´s smallest dosimeter-radiometer, with the potential global market volume of 20 million units a year; the copper bus bar mini-factory capable of producing up to 600 tonnes a month for the electrical energy industry; and the company "Skillful Hands", forging a nationwide brand in household services.
