Dallas White-Collar, Criminal Defense Attorney Barry Sorrels Honored Among ‘Best Lawyers in Dallas’

DALLAS – Texas lawyers and the staff at D Magazine again have selected noted Dallas white-collar and criminal defense lawyer Barry Sorrels of Sorrels, Udashen & Anton for recognition among D Magazine’s annual “The Best Lawyers in Dallas” edition.

The immediate past president of the Dallas Bar Association, Mr. Sorrels is a veteran Texas defense lawyer who routinely defends individuals and business interests in state and federal cases. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Sorrels has successfully represented a variety of high-profile clients, including nationally known sports personalities, business leaders and elected officials in matters ranging from complex federal fraud to first-degree murder.

In compiling its list of the city’s most respected and successful lawyers, D Magazine asked practicing attorneys to identify Dallas lawyers, based on personal observation, who rank among the current best in their respective practice areas. Extra weight was given to nominations received from outside the honoree’s law firm. D Magazine editors then asked a blue-ribbon panel of Dallas lawyers to review the votes and assemble the final list. The “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list will be published in the May 2012 edition of D Magazine.
