Silverbear Ltd, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner in the UK, is proud to announce the latest version of its market leading membership management services product. The Silverbear membership product offers busy membership organisations all of the functionality that they require to acquire, retain and develop their membership. V3 has delivered a number of enhancements and new features to further increase productivity and to also enhance the end-user's experience.

The main highlights of the new release include:

• Extended profile data for regional interests, group interests, sector interests, forum interest
• Introduced "security roles" concept linked to interests, product and membership/ subscription purchases to allow access to restricted/premium areas of online and offline content
• Introduced multi-currency support
• Introduced mentoring capability for members and non-members
• Extended committee management to link committee involvement to "security roles"
• Enhanced event management integration
• Extended web self service portal :
o To include self service management of profile level - regional interests, group interests, sector interests, forum interest, portal preferences and mailing categories
• Introduced fully integrated eCommerce capability with multiple price lists, invoice generation, online payment, tax rule management, gift aid support
• Introduced self service membership renewal
• Introduced self service membership benefits reporting
• Introduced self service subscription management - including new subscriptions and renewals
• Introduced self service CPD management
• Introduced self service library management
• Extended online self service invoice management to include online invoice payment and invoice printing

Dave Langran, Managing Director of Silverbear, explains the significance of these updates: “Offering membership and subscription management at both an organisational and individual level, version 3 is aimed at those membership organisations that are looking to manage their members as effectively and efficiently as possible. It enables membership organisations to maintain an accurate “single view” of member activities and engagements, whilst providing powerful online self service capabilities to their membership base. V3 was launched on March 30th and will be the standard solution for new customers and will also be made available to existing customers with a current valid Silverbear support agreement in place.”
