Press release from: cVidya

MoneyMap® automatically provides standard, real-time Revenue Assurance metrics to TM Forum’s Business Benchmarking database for rapid comparison to the industry

London, April 3, 2012 - cVidya Networks, (www.cvidya.com) a global leader and innovative provider of Revenue Intelligence solutions for Telecom, Media and Entertainment service providers, announced today that Swisscom is the first Communications Service Provider (CSP) to use TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation—through cVidya’s certified MoneyMap® solution. In October 2011, MoneyMap® Release 6.5 was the first Revenue Assurance product to receive TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation certification.

Through TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation program, TM Forum works with software suppliers to incorporate its standardized Business Metrics into products and solutions, allowing service providers to automatically upload metric data into TM Forum’s Business Benchmark Database rather than collating and entering that data manually.

Before TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation, CSPs such as Swisscom manually gathered metric data, completed questionnaires and sent the information to the TM Forum for benchmark analysis. Today, because cVidya’s MoneyMap® Revenue Assurance solution incorporates TM Forum’s standard metrics for Revenue Assurance and supports the Business Metrics Automation interface, Swisscom had the opportunity to test the new solution in MoneyMap® and sent its benchmarking data directly from MoneyMap® to TM Forum’s secure database. The MoneyMap® functionality also enables telecom group companies to maintain and compare KPIs between the group subsidiaries.

“We are excited to pioneer this new program with cVidya and TM Forum,” said Theodora Simeonidis-Orenstein, Revenue Assurance Manager at Swisscom. “Swisscom has been and continues to be an industry leader and innovator in the telecom space. With TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation interface and standard business metrics implemented in MoneyMap®, our Revenue Assurance operations could improve greatly and we would save on our bottom line.”

“We are delighted that Swisscom is taking advantage of TM Forum’s Business Metrics Automation specifications,” said Tonia Graham, Executive Decision Support Program Manager of TM Forum. “TM Forum’s specifications will enable Swisscom to simplify and reduce the cost of benchmarking participation and ensure consistent metric comparisons, allowing service providers to focus their efforts on their most important business decisions.”

“cVidya understands the strategic importance of Revenue Assurance operations,” commented Gadi Solotorevsky, cVidya’s CTO. “Revenue Assurance teams will now be able to make better business decisions based on accurate, comparative industry data. MoneyMap® Release 6.5, the first Business Metrics Automation-certified Revenue Assurance product, demonstrates cVidya’s industry-leading position, our understanding of the market’s Revenue Assurance needs, and our focus on enabling CSPs to excel in their operations.”

Swisscom and cVidya will demonstrate the Business Metrics Automation solution at the Executive Dashboard for Data Analytics and Business Benchmarking Strategic Catalyst project at TM Forum’s Management World 2012 in Dublin, May 21-24.

cVidya’s MoneyMap® solution enables operators to correlate and consolidate information from all network, operations and business systems. Through an on-going process, it automatically detects problem areas which impact profitability as a result of revenue leakage, data inconsistencies or resources that are not being used efficiently. Once MoneyMap® identifies the areas of revenue leakage and resource inefficiency, it provides the user with intuitive tools to promptly correct and manage the problems to achieve profit maximization. As a result, in the future, Swisscom could automatically provide data for TM Forum Revenue Assurance benchmarking studies. In addition, MoneyMap® presents Swisscom data clearly and simply, in near real-time, through intuitive dashboards.

In October 2011, TM Forum certified that MoneyMap® Release 6.5 is conformant to all the required and extended metrics in the Revenue Assurance metric group, and the Business Metrics Automation 1.0 interface. MoneyMap® is the first Revenue Assurance product to be certified with TM Forum’s Frameworx suite of standards, including the Business Process Framework (eTOM), Information Framework (SID), and Business Metrics Automation.
