Dubai Launching the E-Scooter Rental Pilot Project Officially

Good news for Dubai's electric scooters. People who have been waiting to experience the city's electric scooters can now anticipate the reality of leasing e-scooters soon with the introduction of the electric scooter pilot operation in five Dubai locations.

The new generation of public bus stations in Al Ghubaiba, the most modern bus station, has been inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and is distinguished by its modern engineering architecture and its integration with mass transit stations.

In tweets on Twitter, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stated:

"In the Al Ghubaiba region, we have inaugurated a new generation of public transport bus stations according to the highest international standards ... One of the most critical criteria for classifying future cities is ease of travel, connectivity and connecting communities together. By implementing distinct and sustainable infrastructure initiatives, we aim to provide a global model."

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum studied the Mobility Hub model , which includes public transit services, logistics services, support services, bicycle user services, and vehicle services, and the Mobility Center incorporates a range of means of transport, including shared bicycles and vehicles. Shared transit, scooters, buses on call, transit by self-drive, and private transportation.

Then, in his tweet, he said

"I have also seen a pilot electric scooter operation project involving three foreign companies and two national companies ... continuing to diversify the services offered by the Dubai Emirate ... Our target is a smart, future, constantly renewed region."

The Crown Prince of Dubai, His Majesty, was briefed on the pilot operation of the electric scooter, which will commence next week with the participation of five firms, including three international companies (Karim, Lim and Ter) and two local companies, sponsored by the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Authority's proposal to operate electric scooters.

These areas were chosen on the basis of particular criteria, such as areas with high population density, specific development areas, metro stations and mass transit areas, coordinated availability of services and areas with a high degree of traffic safety.

This means you can go on an electric scooter ride whether you are in any of these 5 areas or visiting these regions. You can see how it feels to be part of the increasing pattern of urban mobility that most densely populated cities enjoy, primarily due to its ease of transport and eco-friendliness.
