Scottsdale, Ariz. – March 31, 2012 – Arizona solar installation contractor, American Solar, announces its continued partnership with Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona. In addition, American Solar expects to donate an additional five systems this year for new Habitat for Humanity projects. In addition to installation, American Solar maintains the systems for new homeowners.

“American Solar has been fortunate during recent years to have increased solar system sales to both residential customers and homebuilders throughout the state,” said Sean Seitz, president of American Solar. “As a result, we’re happy to be able to give back to our communities through the Habitat for Humanity organization. We look forward to providing more donations and support in the coming years to this very worthy cause.”

American Solar is recognized by Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona as a major “in-kind donor.” The company regularly contributes time, talent and materials to the organization’s construction projects. American Solar is also a “Green Build Sponsor” for home dedications throughout the year.

The most recently completed project was a 3.8 kilowatt solar electric system installed in a new home for the Alvarado family.
