The M.H.C. Launches with Seminar on Women in the Faith and the Church

March 18, 2012 New York, NY – In today’s society hostile to the fullness of womanhood, narcissistic and detrimental society, this artist and educator wont stand idly by.

“This Catholic oriented prayer and teaching ministry, The Ministry of the Heart of Christ, an unincorporated association, seeks to bring the wisdom of the faith, particularly to teens and young adults as it can throughout the globe, and in great part using the Internet. “ Rev. Katherine Appello Senior Steward and Founder.

This ministrywill host a May seminar on Women in the Faith and Church, as well as one on the Myth of the Separation of Church and State. In addition the M.H.C. hopes to host studies in the following: Catholicism and Ethics, Catholicism and Society, and Catholicism and Reason. The founder hopes that at some point soon, the M.H.C. can become a lay ministry of the Catholic Church and be part of the rich and wonderful faith that began with Abraham, was fulfilled in Christ and built on Peter, the first Pope, continuing with the current Pope the bishops so on and so forth.

Appreciation for the wisdom of the faith came later on in life for this minister, at the age of 40 something when fibromyalgia turned her world upside down and made holding down any kind of a job and fixed schedule near to impossible. However, it also brought her to delve further into the faith of her childhood, and really come to appreciate the wisdom of the Roman Catholic faith on so many levels. She hopes that this appreciation can be passed on to current and future generations.

Please check out the ministry blog, which will then provide further information.

"The time was when Protestants placed a high value upon the liberty of conscience which had been so dearly purchased. This is nothing less than insubordination. Here we have

Infant Baptism By Catholics Vs Scripture; Evangelical Outreach Ex Catholic Dan C …
Can Biblical truth be debated by man? And, if so, would the consensus reached be based on the Word of God? Infant baptism is one such issue that has been debated endlessly since the Middle Ages. There are two broad schools of thought. In an article on AboutCatholics.com entitled "A Simple Defense of Infant Baptism", the article states "Infant baptism is one of the traditions that was handed down, but not
