Ravisa Infomedia celebrates its 4th anniversary

Ravisa Infomedia Pvt. Ltd. celebrated its 4th anniversary this Tuesday. The journey of Ravisa started on Nov 1, 2007 in Mumbai. The co-founders of Ravisa are Pritam Roy (CEO), Amitava Sengupta (Head - Development), Amitava Bhattacharya (Head - Design) and Paromeeta Mathur Banerjee (Head - Content & User Insights). All of them were professionals, who left their successful career to pursue their entrepreneurial dream. They are also all ardent movie lovers, which led them to start Gomolo.com, a site for Indian movie lovers.

Pritam Roy started his career with Ranbaxy Laboratories after completing his MBA from IIM Kozhikode in 2000. He worked primarily in international markets and handled Business Development for Latin American markets for Ranbaxy. After Ranbaxy, Pritam joined Glenmark as Regional Manager - Latin America and later worked with Bilcare as Business Director - Latin America. He was living in Sao Paulo, Brasil, before he decided to come back to India to start Ravisa.

Amitava Sengupta worked for Patni Computer Services as Senior Software Engineer and prior to that, was working with 3i Infotech as Software Engineer. Amitava Bhattacharya worked for Aptara as Manager - Instruction Design after working with Wipro as Senior Instructional Designer. Paromeeta Mathur Banerjee was Senior Project Director with IMRB International and has rich experience in market research with multiple clients across industries.

The alpha version of Gomolo.com was launched in April, 2008 and it has gone through lot of changes ever since, emerging as one of the leading movie websites in India, today. Users can book tickets, buy DVD, VCD, Music CD and rent DVD on the site, all at one place, with click of a button.
