Network overview at a glance – TSN Tools version 2.6
Many companies are aware of the fact, that the requirements for new generations of devices should be TSN-compliant or at least "TSN ready". Development steps are now being initiated in this area, but the challenges in daily development work are comprehensive: gPTP-compliant time synchronisation and nanosecond cyclical traffic are the decisive issues. The focus is on the complexity of time-sensitive Ethernet communication.
Since 2016, TSN Systems has been working on offering analysis equipment with TSN Tools and TSN Boxes, which can be used to visualise - and thus understand - even complex situations. In current releases, new functions are constantly being developed that come directly from the daily practice of customers in TSN Engineering and thus show sustainable solutions.
In the new release 2.6 of the TSN Tools a special innovation for network analysis is available: The new configurationless dashboard provides a comprehensive network overview of the status resp. all involved talkers, listeners, VLAN, priorities, gPTP master and many other parameters with the help of so-called chord diagrams. With this unique approach, even complex situations are easy to grasp. Customers thus reach the goal of a convergent network faster and substantiated. Time Matters.
