BOER Playgrounds And Skywalker Adventure Builders Announce Mutual Cooperation

Both companies coordinate service delivery strategies in their bid for opening new markets in Europe.

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS – Board members of BOER Playgrounds and Skywalker Adventure Builders, the Dutch specialist manufacturer for outdoor climbing parks today announced a mutual strategic cooperation between the two companies.

“For both companies, this represents a significant step forward in our aim to increase our market share in the European countries,” explains Ewout Van Voorst, Managing Director of Skywalker. “What is more, the close cooperation of our two companies will benefit our customers when it comes to individual pricing and range of our services.”

“Due to their innovative concepts, BOER and Skywalker are amongst the fastest-growing companies in the industry,” Van Voorst continues. “Although both companies have clearly defined product ranges, there are areas where our services overlap. Means, strategically coordinating the product delivery strategies within these areas is the logical thing to do.”

Van Schaik admits that the mutual cooperation agreement is also the result of a recent shift in customer demands: “When it comes to Outdoor Sport & Leisure, more and more customers ask for all-inclusive packages comprising a high fun factor, a reasonable degree of physical challenge and above all, a set-up that provides ‘creative potential’. As far as climbing parks are concerned, we at BOER are nothing more than rookies while Skywalker are the experts.”

Van Voorst confirms again that customers will benefit from a cooperation between the two companies: “Our clients are able to utilise our 60 years of combined experience - BOER is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
