New Birmingham depot

New Birmingham depot

Leading crate rental specialist Pluscrates has announced the relocation of its Nuneaton depot to new larger premises in Birmingham. Completion is due to take place on 25 February. The new 30,000 ft site will provide around 50% more storage space and allow better access to the Midlands motorway network.

“We’ve seen a steady growth in business in the Midlands area during the past few years and the new depot will enable us to give an even better service to our customers,” said Pluscrates’ Managing Director John Mitchell. “I believe there is a lot of untapped business in the area, especially in central Birmingham, and we’ll be pulling out all the stops to secure it.”

All nine staff will transfer to the new depot including manager Ian Gilkes who has managed the Nuneaton branch since 2009.

Pluscrates now has depots in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, and Livingston in Scotland, providing nationwide crate rental services to the relocation industry.

Pluscrates is the fastest growing provider of returnable transit packaging (RTP), containers and packaging consumables in the United Kingdom, providing a premium crate rental service to the commercial relocation and facilities management markets, as well as to the domestic removals market.
