Who is Nature Lion?
We teach you how to grow your own gourmet mushrooms at home. Our business began as a Kickstarter project that was entirely possible because of mushroom lovers like yourself.
What do you do?
Nature Lion provides people with the knowledge and the tools necessary to be able to grow gourmet mushrooms. We take the hard part out of it and make growing them easy and fun.
What kind of mushrooms can I grow?
Right now we are offering Black Oyster Mushroom growing kits. The mini farm comes with everything you need to start growing when you get your package.
How long does it take?
Your first crop will be ready in as little as 2 weeks. All you do is cut an 'X' in the bag and mist daily with water. You will be eating them 2 weeks later.
Where do they grow?
They will grow just about anywhere in your house. Mushrooms need some light to thrive but they don't need direct sunlight. So keeping them in a darker corner of the home is a good idea.
What about additional harvests?
Yes, absolutely! Additional harvest of mushrooms will come 2-3 weeks after the first crop. You can get up to 3 harvests with your Black Oyster Mushroom Mini Farm.

When?
The kits are being prepared now for all the wonderful people who backed us on Kickstarter. So when they are satisfied in mid-Oct they'll be available to the public.
Why?
Growing mushrooms is just...fun! They are so interesting to watch grow and they grow so fast. From first sighting to harvest and cooking is 4-5 days.

Nature Lion sells organic mushroom growing kits in Canada. We are developing our first kit now for our signature Black Oyster mushrooms. We were successfully funded on Kickstarter in August of 2020. Our goal is to bring organic food into people's homes and teach them about the joy of growing your own.
