Adult Gastroenterology Associates Consolidates Offices

Adult Gastroenterology Associates (AGA), founded in 1987 and still the only independent gastroenterology practice in Tulsa, is combining all of their practices under one roof in the Richmond Plaza Building. The new location at 4200 E. Skelly Drive will be in the same building as the Tulsa Endoscopy Center, a partner company of AGA. The team members at AGA pride themselves on being completely centered on their patients and what is best for those they serve. Each person who walks through their doors gets completely personalized, direct care.

Lead physician, Dr. Patrick Volak, joined AGA in 1991 and helped co-found the Tulsa Endoscopy Center. In his more than 29 years of experience in the industry, he has seen incredible advancements in the field, and his excitement for this move is evident. “I am already so proud to be part of a team that prioritizes high-quality care and is dedicated to maintaining advanced standards of expertise and technology to always give the patient the very best experience,” said Dr. Volak. “This move is just another way for us to make their lives a little bit easier.”

The physicians and nurse practitioners at AGA have over 150 years of experience in their many services: colon cancer screenings, colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, radiofrequency ablations, hemorrhoid banding, capsule endoscopies, esophageal manometry, Bravo pH capsule studies, endoscopic ultrasounds, rectal endoscopic ultrasounds, ERCPs, H. pylori breath tests and lactose breath tests as well as collaborations with other physicians across the country to assist in other specialty care.

The physicians working alongside Dr. Volak include Dr. Nightengale, Dr. Kliewer, Dr. Stanton, Dr. Blankenship, Dr. Conkling, Dr. Clark, Dr. Blonsky, Dr. McNamara and Dr. Patel. All areas of gastroenterology and hepatology — including biliary and luminal therapeutic endoscopy procedures, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology and management of viral hepatitis, pancreaticobiliary cancer and disorders, esophageal and reflux disorders, colon cancer prevention and ethnic risks related to digestive diseases — are covered by AGA physicians.
