Press release from: Interxion
PR Agency: March Communications

SANTA CLARA, CALIF. – February 14, 2012 – INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE: INXN), a leading European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data center services, and CoreSite Realty Corporation (NYSE: COR) today announced that they will be gold sponsors of Cloud Connect, February 13-16, 2012 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara. The companies will be exhibiting in booth 314 and speaking on two sessions, Intelligent Transatlantic Cloud Expansion, and In Their Words: Cloud Companies on the Importance of Selecting the Right Data Center.
This co-sponsorship further supports Interxion’s and CoreSite’s Trans-Atlantic Cloud Computing Data Center Alliance, which aims to minimize the risks and challenges associated with international data center sourcing between Europe and the U.S. During the companies’ two speaking sessions, Interxion executive Jelle Frank van der Zwet and CoreSite executives Gerry Fassig and Jameson Agraz will explore how companies can address the spike in demand for multi-national cloud capabilities, and what they can do to satisfy the intense demands of today’s cloud end-user.
During the event, Cloud Testlab demonstrations of the new Eucalyptus Cloud Testlab offering will be available at the CoreSite/Interxion Cloud Connect booth (#314) from February 14-15, 2012. Eucalyptus Cloud Testlab is a complete cloud-ready data center solution with fast and easy setup. The solution, which includes hosting, hardware and Eucalyptus open source cloud software, enables customers to configure virtual cloud resources, experience full elastic-compute resource management, and demo their applications on private cloud software with no risk. To reduce the business and technical risks often associated with cloud adoption, enterprises can purchase the exact cloud environment used during the testing phase. Eucalyptus’ Cloud Test Lab will operate on innovative Dell infrastructure provided by Dasher Technologies. For customers requiring global scalability, CoreSite partners with Interxion.
“As cloud computing continues to expand into all industries, it is essential for companies to come together to explore potential challenges, mitigate perceived risks and meet end-user demands through innovation,” said Jelle Frank van der Zwet, Interxion Cloud Segment Marketing Manager. “We are excited to participate in Cloud Connect 2012 with CoreSite, and look forward to sharing and collaborating with our peers to further the cloud computing industry.”
Cloud Connect brings together the entire cloud eco-system to better understand the transformation, and promises to be the defining event of the cloud computing industry.
