Arrow ECS Adds White-Label IaaS Solution Integrating VMware, NetApp Technologies
Englewood, Colorado – Expanding its North American cloud services portfolio, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. [NYSE: ARW], has launched an infrastructure-as-a-service framework integrating VMware and NetApp functionality that solution providers can customize and deliver to enterprise and midsize business customers seeking hosted hybrid, private or public cloud services.“This service enables solution providers to sell and provision their own cloud offerings for their customers quickly, easily and profitably,” said Lee Fawcett, vice president of Arrow ECS’ North American Fusion professional services program. “In addition to obviating the expense of building and managing their own cloud infrastructure, this offering, built on PeakColo’s WhiteCloud Service®, enables solution providers to maximize profit margins by providing their customers access to VMware licensing and highly efficient NetApp unified storage functionality on a pay-as-you-go basis.”

Built on the VMware vCloud stack and NetApp’s SAN infrastructure, the IaaS solution provides flexible, efficient and reliable support for disaster recovery, hosted virtual desktop infrastructure, hosted email, community clouds, analytics and cloud bursting.
PeakColo is a Premier-level member of the VMware Service Provider Program and a VMware vCloud Powered service provider. Additionally, PeakColo is a NetApp Global Systems Partner. PeakColo’s NetApp and VMware vCloud Powered solutions are delivered out of multiple Type II SSAE 16/ SOC-compliant sites in the United States and the United Kingdom.
