The brainchild of Will David, the Fixture Calendar idea came about as an "obvious" solution to a problem many of us encounter: How to plan around sport.
"I have searched for kick-off times so often in my life", says Will, "and there was never a single, accurate source of information for all sports that I could rely upon.”
“I would hop from local news articles to team websites to find times and dates. Half the time they were wrong or inconsistent. Don’t get me started on the confusion around timezones across different sources!”

From the ashes of Covid
When the pandemic hit, the travel business that Will had spent years building was put out of action. For a while, he was heartbroken, but Will realised that it was actually the perfect time to build the tool that he had always needed.
"I was missing sport. I realised that - as soon as sport is allowed back into our lives - there are probably millions of people like me who would be searching for fixture information."
"Everyone I spoke to loved the idea. There was a sports niche that nobody was catering to."
"I put a tech team together and built the kind of product that I would like to use - clean, accurate and simple. I really believe it will be useful to so many people out there, from sports fans to party planners."
