A3 Environmental Consultants is pleased to introduce our summer intern, Andreas Kougias.

Andreas is a current student at the University of Illinois at Chicago working towards his major in Earth and Environmental Science. The team at A3E has challenged him to perform the different aspects of Environmental Consulting. He’s written first drafts of Phase I ESAs to hand off to his more seasoned colleagues to review. He’s sampled groundwater monitoring wells across Chicagoland, most recently at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, Thornton Quarry well project. He’s been a Project Sherpa for several Phase II ESAs and done oversight on Chicago Transit Authority projects. Shadowing A3 Environmental Consultant’s staff has given him a close-up and well-rounded view of the hard work we do. We appreciate the extra set of hands around the office, whether they are typing, filing, hand-auguring or well-sampling he’s been an enormous help. I know we’re looking forward to the day he graduates as much as he is.
