LAKESIDE BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS
David Christner, Mary Perez and Michelle Ward Join Board of Directors

Orlando, FL – Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare, a non-profit organization providing mental health care services in Orange County, has appointed David Christner, Mary Perez and Michelle Ward to its esteemed Board of Directors. “We are so fortunate to have these three outstanding community leaders join our Board. I know they will continue to foster the mission and goals set forth in serving Lakeside’s clients,” says Jerry Kassab, President and CEO of Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare.

David Christner is the Operating Director for Del Frisco’s Prime Steak & Lobster, located on Lee Rd. in Orlando. Christner is the proud father of four children and is an honorary deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Florida Hospital Diabetes Institute and Florida Collegiate Summer League. Through Del Frisco’s, Christner supports Kids House of Seminole County, Base Camp, Give Kids the World, Cystic Fibrosis and many other organizations. “I appreciate the opportunity to serve at Lakeside and look forward to working with some of the nicest people I have ever met,” says Christner.

Mary Perez is a part-time instructor at Valencia Community College and a retired Manager from Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). Perez has spent over 30 years providing supervision and implementation of software development. She previously served on the Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare Foundation board and her community involvement over the years has also included memberships on the Second Chance Foundation and City of Life Operations Board of Directors. “I’m dedicated to Lakeside and all the great work they do to serve our community,” says Perez.

Michelle Ward is a Graphic Design Specialist with Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). Through her work at OUC and its many partners, Ward has had the pleasure of collaborating on projects for the American Cancer Society, Coalition for the Homeless and United Way. “I understand the stigma associated with mental illness and hope that my work with Lakeside will bring about awareness and proper education throughout the community in order to overcome these stereotypes,” says Ward.

Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization that provides comprehensive behavioral health care services in Orange County. Lakeside offers access to mental health care both, inpatient and outpatient, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
