Press release from: Think Marketing Edinburgh

In recent years people will have noticed moustaches sprouting on the previously hairless faces of their friends. If anyone is wondering why, the answer is Movember! Movember is a unique, fun and effective way to raise money for men’s health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer. This month ThinkMarketing have decided to join in and take on the Movember challenge!
On 1st November men all over the country register with the campaign with clean shaven faces and then let their facial hair loose! At ThinkMarketing, the ‘Mo Bros’, as they are jokingly referred to, are competing to see who can grow the most elaborate moustache and raise the most money for this cause. The rules of conduct given on the Movember site are:
1. Once registered at movember.com each mo bro must begin the 1st of Movember with a clean shaven face.
2. For the entire month of Movember each mo bro must grow and groom a moustache.
3. There is to be no joining of the mo to your side burns.
4. There is to be no joining of the handlebars to your chin.
5. Each mo bro must conduct himself like a true country gentleman.
On their website, the creators of Movember describe their vision for this global campaign:
‘Via the moustache, Movember aims to fulfil its vision of having an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health, by continuing to spark conversation and spread awareness of men’s health each year.’
A source from ThinkMarketing says ‘Movember is a great way to give something back while having some fun with your friends. Men’s health is obviously an important issue and the idea of having a month dedicated to raising money in such a unique way is a great one’.
ThinkMarketing encourage everyone to find a friend who is participating (it should not be too hard to spot them!) and to help contribute to this excellent cause.
