01-26-2012 08:16 AM CET | Politics, Law & Society

Press release from: Latin Builders Association®

On January 27, 2012, the Latin Builders Association® (LBA) will be hosting an all-day event that features the major Republican Party candidates and a lunch with Governor Rick Scott. Each candidate will have an opportunity to speak with members of the LBA and their guests during their dedicated session. After the event, the LBA President and Board of Directors will convene a private meeting to choose which candidate will receive the Official Endorsement of the Latin Builders Association® based on the outcome of the sessions.
Decision 2012 will be a main campaign stop in Florida for the top GOP candidates, providing an opportunity for them to present their agendas in a non-debate format. The candidates will be addressing LBA members, guests, and constituents. Highlighting the day’s program will be an intimate question and answer session with Governor Rick Scott during the main luncheon.
At the conclusion of the day’s activities, President Bernie Navarro, his Executive Board, LBA Past Presidents, and the Board of Directors will assemble to discuss the official Latin Builders Association® endorsement decision. Based on the day’s presentations, the assembly will decide which candidate best reflected the values of the LBA.
“It is important for these candidates to have plans on how to reinvigorate South Florida’s economy and a clear vision for America’s future,” said Navarro. “We are excited to meet the candidates and have them share their thoughts and plans with us. We are at a critical juncture in the history of America and Miami and selecting a proven leader has never been more important. “
