Prof Andreas Daniel, the chairman of the Committee, was responsible for the real estate, among others, of an international toy manufacturer in a leading position for many years and is now Managing Director of a well-known company in the real estate industry. MLC Properties East Africa

MLC Properties enables investors to participate in the growth potential of the East Africa region. It is specialised in the development of real estate projects in Rwanda & Tanzania across several sectors. Its investment aim is to generate above-average through providing needs-orientated real estate in these strong growth markets. By this means, MLC Properties offers an attractive investment alternative to classic Africa orientated equity funds and exchange traded funds (ETF), whose investment focus lies on Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria and South Africa.

Investment strategy

MLC Properties’ investment strategy is to cover the sectors retail, hospitality, residential, office, health, and education with differing priorities. “Our analysis shows that there are several attractive investment opportunities across several sectors. We are aiming to exploit existing earnings potential for the medium and long term benefit of our investors. Thus, not only investment analysis but also a sound risk management is of high priority.” said Heri Bomani, the Chief Investment Officer at MLC Properties.
