Chinese Year of the Dragon Descended into St. Petersburg: Watch with Vpiter.com Live Webcams
On Sunday, January, 22nd the flashmob started and the dragon began its movement. All eager people could join the procession and enjoy the dragon's promises of wellbeing and help in finding true happiness. Each participant had in the hands some sort of bright fabric, such as the colorful veil. These rags symbolized the skin of the beast. This action was implemented by Vpiter.com and 'Hotels of Saint Petersburg' to remind everybody of the ancient Chinese legend of the ferocious dragon and commemorate the tradition to celebrate New Year in such a manner - loud, bright and cheerful.
Those who were not able to attend the flashmob could watch this event online via 20 latest webcams with high resolution on the company's website. As close as possible the longest tail of the dragon could be seen via a webcam on Nevsky 47 - special webcam to send greetings - http://www.vpiter.com/spb_dragon_action/.
