Movenda first Italian company to be FIDO2® Certified
"We are delighted to be the first Italian company to have FIDO2 Certified software, we are ready to help those who want to safely innovate" said Marco Rossi, Movenda’s CEO & Founder. "As members of the FIDO Alliance and its European WG we have worked to give our contribution to a future without passwords, before with the FIDO UAF certification and today with FIDO2. FIDO2 is a new global standard, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which allows us to access all our online accounts, keeping our information safe. In this lockdown period our online security is essential. Instead of using passwords, FIDO2 verifies that you is really you, thanks to biometrics and a secure architecture by design. It works on any web browser and on all devices, including our smartphones, desktops or laptops, tablets or smartwatches. "
The FIDO Alliance, is an industry consortium with 250+ member and partner organizations developing open standards for simpler, stronger authentication, formed in July 2012 to address the lack of interoperability among strong authentication technologies, and remedy the problems users face with creating and remembering multiple usernames and passwords.
