Press release from: oopsydaisy

San Diego, Ca — January 5, 2012 —Oopsy daisy, Fine Art For Kids(www.oopsydaisy.com) has announced the launch of a retail e-commerce site filled with gifts, with the added bonus of effective charitable giving. For every retail order received on the site, the children’s wall décor manufacturer will donate $1 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Shoppers can also donate their own dollar if they like, but that is not required for the $1 donation from Oopsy daisy to be made. Oopsy daisy kicked off its partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs with a cash donation of $20,000 this year and is looking to more than double that contribution in the coming months.

“Boys & Girls Clubs of America is grateful to Oopsy daisy for selecting us as their charity of choice for this new online endeavor,” said Roxanne Spillett, president and CEO, BGCA. “The support will help us support Boys & Girls Club members across the country, many who are young artists in the making.”When asked about the new retail website, Oopsy daisy’s co-founder Karen Capp said, “We are greatly looking forward to direct dialogue with our customers. The site will be fun to browse, featuring such components as crafts to do with kids, art events across the country and inspirational ideas for nurseries and children spaces.”

With more than 100 artists involved in creating the Oopsy daisy collection of more than 3,000 pieces of art, the California company continues to lead the field in quality artwork for American families. Made in the USA is an important part of the equation as Tom Capp, company co-owner summarized, “Keeping jobs in America in conjunction with making a product we are proud of each time we ship is what drives our day-to-day operation. The additional excitement of generating money that will help kids in need through Boys & Girls Clubs of America is truly the icing on the cake for us.” Oopsy daisy, Fine Art for Kids has been creating room décor for retailers since 1999. The company’s products can be found in more than 1,500 boutique stores across the United States and are available through numerous catalog companies, as well as presented as a value line in Target stores nationwide. The San Diego company was one of the first in the industry to reproduce fine art for children onto canvas using the giclee method of printing. The company now encompasses three art lines; GreenBox Art + Culture, specializing in contemporary art for residential and commercial projects, Wheatpaste Art Collective, which is focused on street style art for the youth market and the above mentioned Oopsy daisy, Fine Art for Kids, which has one of the largest collections of artwork for children in America. Between the three art lines, the company has more than 4,000 pieces of art from more than 250 artists from around the world. All three sites are linked to one another, making for an easy shopping experience for every member of the family and for every room of a home.

Oopsy daisy and its parent company, GreenBox Art + Culture kicked off its partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America with a cash donation of $20,000 this year and is looking to more than double that contribution in the coming months.
