Thompson & Knight Attorney Elected to Housing Crisis Center Board of Directors

Thompson & Knight is pleased to announce Jessica B. Young has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Housing Crisis Center, a nonprofit organization working to prevent homelessness and to stabilize families, the elderly, and disabled in decent, affordable, and permanent housing.

Ms. Young is an Associate in Thompson & Knight’s Trial Practice Group and focuses on litigation and representing clients before federal and state trial courts. She counsels on such matters as products and premises liability, personal injury, and mass tort, as well as on construction and contract litigation.

About the Housing Crisis Center

The Housing Crisis Center began in 1978 and was initially known as the Dallas Tenants Association. Since then, the nonprofit organization has grown to its current continuum of housing programs and services specifically designed to accomplish its mission “to prevent homelessness and to stabilize families, the elderly and the disabled in decent, affordable, permanent housing, and to empower these groups to be able to solve future housing problems.”
