,,THE WORLD STANDS STILL"
HOME-OFFICE STYLE
HOME-MUSICIANS OF THREE GENERATIONS AND FROM TEN COUNTRIES CREATE SPONTANEUOSLY A SONG ABOUT THE ACTUAL SITUATION ONLY OUT OF THEIR "HOME-OFFICE"

RHEINLAND-PFALZ, GERMANY, MAY 11TH 2020

A colorful, worldwide mix of almost thirty home musicians and helpers from Germany, Scotland, Ireland, Cameroon, Bolivia, Belgium, Finland, Thailand and China, armed only with love and passion, composed a song together because of the actual situation in our world.

Certainly, only with the incredible help and support by friends and family members this was possible to be made into a reality so quickly.
The initiator, Carl from Germany, is himself just a home musician with the guitar and little singing. When shortly ago his son?s friend, an exchange student from Scotland, outed himself as a guitar player, they both hit it off immediately with an idea to do a song together!

,,Our Song is meant to reflect the feelings of the people at the current situation with music. At the same time, we want to share and offer hopes which are based on the fact that even in such a critical and unprecedented situation for humanity, it is possible to create something powerful as a song like that - by working together and contributing to each other.
To support one another is anyway the most important at such times and should be so for all people on our little planet.
This is the core message about our song", so say the initiators Tor from Scotland and Carl from Germany.

,,All contributions were made with the best efforts at hand in 'home office music style'. Even the music studio of a friend contributed free of charge to create a song out of all the music pieces from around the world. Because this is a non-commercial project it was a great experience and a senseful project and it made a lot of fun to do this together. We all hope to set an example for many other home musicians to follow!" the whole team agreed upon.

To make it simple for everyone, a friend of us offered to create a small homepage for downloading or listening to the song. All free of charge of course.
