Tom O’Connell Joins Purk & Associates, P.C. as Director of Dealership Services
December 8, 2011 (St. Louis) – Purk & Associates, P.C., the leading, independently owned St. Louis-based accounting firm, announced today that Tom O’Connell joined the firm’s senior management team as Director of Dealership Services.In his new role, O’Connell will oversee all management aspects, new business development, and client interactions for the firm’s newly created, nationwide dealership division, which provides accounting and tax services for all dealership types including new car and truck franchises, used vehicles, heavy duty trucks, motorcycles and recreational vehicles.
Prior to joining the firm, O’Connell owned a nationally recognized consulting firm that specialized in the dealership industry.

O’Connell received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis, and a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Louis University John Cook School of Business. He is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). O’Connell currently serves on the board of directors for St. John Vianney High School and Guardian Angel Settlement Association.
