Kögel is in first place in Russia with its trailers

The best trailer of 2011 in Russia comes from Burtenbach in Bavaria. Kögel was awarded first place in the "Movement" competition in the trailer category with its Cargo product. The platform trailer convinced the jury of experts both with its simple handling, the flexible and rapid loading facility, a high payload capacity, and with its quality finish.

The jury, from various different Russian-speaking countries, consisting of representatives from the Transport Ministry, logistics companies and journalists has been choosing the best commercial transport for the last ten years now. The evaluation included criteria such as design, technology and the manufacturer's guarantee. For this reason, it was not a big problem for the experts to choose the best trailer - the number one is the Kögel Cargo.

"Russia is a very big market for us and we are achieving above average growth rates“, said Wolfgang Schuster, Sales Manager at Kögel. "We have been supplying high-quality trailers for years and that information has spread throughout Russia, of course, and has been confirmed by this award."

Kögel – a brand steeped in more than 75 years of tradition, which has earned itself a leading position throughout Europe, is back in the limelight, with renewed vigour and its unmistakable blend of experience and expertise. With the takeover of Kögel in 2009, Ulrich Humbaur assumed an active entrepreneurial role which gave the brand the stability and continuity it deserves. This is further consolidated by the very sturdy equity ratio that Ulrich Humbaur has made available to his company. A passion for transport. Quality characterised by engineering. This is the innovation which these names deserve because they bring relevant customer value. And the reliability of an owner-led family company with long-term perspectives. In addition to products for the forwarding industry we now have versions for the construction industry, a field which is not entirely new for Kögel.
