The Tiny Tim of Horses - Papelbon

Papelbon, an injured horse is rescued in California by Hooves & Paws Animal Shelter
December 5, 2011 – Hooves & Paws Animal Shelter, a nonprofit animal rescue shelter, is helping a horse in California who was badly injured with a severe laceration on his chest, along with a permanent deformity of one of his hind legs. With no idea where he came from, Papelbon the horse, is being cared for by the Hooves & Paws Animal Shelter.
“We are pleased to welcome a new animal this holiday season to our rescue in California. Papelbon is making great strides in the healing process and the deformity does not hinder him very much.” said Michele Padilla, founder of Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue. “He reminds us of Tiny Tim with his deformity and sweet disposition. We are truly blessed to have the facilities to take care of him this winter."
To learn more about Papelbon, or other horses at the rescue in California, please contact Hooves and Paws Animal Rescue directly by visiting http://www.hoovesandpaws.org/. There you can learn how to adopt, volunteer, and donate to the nonprofit organization focused on the needs of many animals.
