Chicago Litigation Lawyer From Peck Bloom Helps Raise $50,000 Toward Research For Stroke Patients

CHICAGO, IL - Cameron DeGuerre, a Chicago litigation lawyer from Peck Bloom, LLC, recently helped the Chicago Northwestern Auxiliary Board raise $50,000 for research and therapies for stroke patients.

The money was raised on October 21, 2011 at the event Chicago's Table. Guests dined on dishes and cocktails from Chicago's most famous restaurants and DJ Megan Taylor provided the entertainment. The proceeds will help Dr. Andrew M. Naidech, the medical director of the Neuro/Spine ICU at Northwestern Memorial, fund his research into the causes of stroke. DeGuerre currently serves as vice president of membership for the Northwestern Auxiliary Board and has been a member of this influential group of young professionals for over five years.

"The auxiliary board gives me an opportunity to raise funds for a hospital that so many of my clients rely on, as well as raise money for a medical phenomena -- strokes -- that so many of my clients have also suffered.
