Four Films About Participants On The Momentum International

Voidcomp has recently produced individual films about four of the participants who attended the Momentum International Youth Leadership Course in July 2011. These four participants are Anna Dageretzis from Germany, Goran Boshkovski from Macedonia, Jordan Searcey from the USA and Tess Meaker from the UK. In the films they talk about their lives, how they view leadership and how the Momentum Leadership Course has helped them to develop themselves.

Momentum is a social enterprise focusing on the professional development of young people. Their International Youth Leadership Course brings together young people from around the world to learn about themselves and to help them develop the skills to form their own international social projects.

Voidcomp produced a 30 min documentary about the 2010 Leadership Course and were then commissioned by Momentum to produce these 4 short films for the 2011 Leadership Course. Both companies felt these films needed to be personal and talk less about the course and Momentum, but rather highlight what individuals are getting out of such a dynamic, fast paced and intensive program. The films combine multiple locations with an ever changing background and technically challenging production techniques, all with the aim of answering the question “Why am I here?”. The story behind every film is the individual story of each participant. The film makers explore where the participants are from, how they got to where they are now and what they want to achieve.

The films can be seen online at www.youthmomentum.org.
