Huge interest in neurofeedback applications by home-of-attention Ltd. and NeuroSky at the SPIEL 2011 fair.

Presentation of products and novelties by home-of-attention Ltd. and NeuroSky at the Internationalen Spieletagen 2011 from 20th-23rd of October in Essen was a great success.
The main attraction was the software home-of-attention orange edition. This software was developed by psychologists and is a world first in the area of relaxation and attention training with neurofeedback. At the fair, it was shown to the public for the first time and tested by many visitors. "We were delighted about the great interest and numerous interesting discussions”, said Katharina Haeuslein, public relations manager of home-of-attention Ltd. "The conversations have shown that we are on the right track. There is great interest in brain training – not only in the training of performance optimization, but also in increasing one’s relaxation ability”. The booth was visited by so many interested visitors that some had to take into account delays in testing and the team at the boot was very busy. home-of-attention works with the MindWave of NeuroSky, a mobile headset for EEG measurement. NeuroSky is the world’s leader in mass-market Brain-Computer Interface technology. The MindWave with the associated games was also presented at the fair and was tested by visitors frequently. Following the successful launch of the exclusive fair edition, the home-of-attention orange edition, the company presents a new home-of-attention edition in November 2011. It’s an enhanced version of the orange edition containing more features. Moreover, it suits the user’s individual needs even more.
The software home-of-attention trains relaxation and attention using a visual neurofeedback method. It works with the MindWave headset from NeuroSky, which measures the user’s brain activity by means of an EEG system. On a monitor, home-of-attention visualizes the user’s brain activity that is divided into different frequency ranges. The frequency ranges represent mental states such as attentive relaxation or strong attention. This way, the user can see his or her actual mental state and therewith can train to get into another desired mental state.
SPIEL 2011 is the world's largest trade fair for board games, where international exhibitors present their games on about 44,000 sqm.
