HCR have become the standard bearer for businesses across Hampshire after winning the esteemed ‘Business of the Year’ award at the 2011 INSPIRE awards. The prestigious INSPIRE awards, now in their 5th year, are dedicated to businesses across the North Hampshire region and celebrate the continued development, innovation and success of a range of different corporations in the district. The glittering ceremony took place in front of over 500 guests at the Hampshire Court Hotel in Basingstoke, Hampshire on the 10th November 2011.
HCR Business Development and Marketing Director, Adrian Leach was there to collect the award from Phil Wilding of award sponsors Wilding Butler: “This is just the best award - we've won so many awards - but this one meant more than anything to all of us because we're based in Basingstoke. Our tentacles reach out all over the world, but we really wanted to win the Inspire awards as they really pick up that North Hampshire connection. Winning an Inspire award is an honour and a culmination of the dedication and commitment shown time and again by the staff at HCR. We all work as a team, we all work hard, and the joy of this achievement is felt by all.”
HCR was applauded by the INSPIRE judges for their growth and diversification throughout the recession, as well as their impressive 98% customer satisfaction rate. Judges also highlighted the sustainability policies lying at the heart of HCR, as well as investment in staff and the wider community as part of their corporate social responsibility.
Felicity Edwards, managing director of Destination Basingstoke, organisers of the INSPIRE awards commented:“Inspire does exactly what you’d expect – inspires and celebrates local business achievements across north Hampshire and we were delighted that the Awards evening was such a success with 500 people attending. It was fantastic to see a Basingstoke business win the Business of the Year Award – very well deserved and we’d like to congratulate all involved – and look forward to seeing HCR back at the Awards in 2012.”
HCR was also Shortlisted for a second INSPIRE award, the ‘Sustainable Business of the Year’. HCR have enjoyed quite a winning streak this past year, also winning the title ‘Relocation Service Provider of the Year’, awarded by Re:locate in May.
