Next to be officially launched, social network Ticies announces the raise of 1 million dollars, new staff hiring and a new headquarter at Brazil’s capital.

Ticies startup, whose goal is to provide a social network to help people create their social programming through a commercial establishment guide, is not yet available to the public, but even before the release is already showing signs that comes to stay.

Ticies prints a Brazilian DNA in a social network with global scope. With a business model in which people from around the world can make money with the network, through the distribution of profits among partner-collaborators nicknamed as “City Owners” by the creators of the network. Nevertheless, the network wants to sell the licensing of all cities of the globe in an auction that should begin later this year.

The project, started in 2009, in recent months has taken shape, color, a brand and a very attractive business plan, which aroused the interest of investors in several countries. The first round of negotiation lasted about four months, and ended after a Brazilian “angel investor” offer US$ 1 million for a share in the company. This investment will accelerate the rollout of the solution, which will be held simultaneously in all countries.

Part of the investment was destined for the setup of the new headquarter, located in Brasilia. The space was designed in detail, so that the environment could stay light, cool and as uplifting as possible. Another portion of this amount was allocated to hire a young and talented team, which now has 12 people, including professionals in the development, operations, marketing, finances and administrative area.

Ahead of the team is Joaquim Venancio, the creator and founder of Ticies, a young man who at the age of 30 changed the stability of a successful career in the country’s largest bank by entrepreneurship, investing in a personal project. There’s no shortage of background, in the last 11 years he has participated in dozens of projects recognized and rewarded by the market, giving it the know- how to deal with Web, Mobile and Social Networks with great ease. You can add next to him five other members who compose the board of the startup.

In the upcoming weeks Ticies will work with the entire team focused in the launch of the beta version of the website and in development of applications for iOS, Android and other mobile platforms. The expectation is that the start of the auctions, which sell the world’s cities, begins later this year.

Founded in August 2009, Ticies is a social network that helps people planning where to go with your friends, relatives and acquaintances, available in all cities of the world. The company develops technologies that facilitate the way real- world businesses, especially commercial establishments, to provide their information so that people can get to them. Anyone can subscribe to the Ticies and share information with friends, family and acquaintances in a secure and reliable environment. Ticies will have social programming of people's lives.
