The add-on module allows opening and closing of the convertible top ( http://www.mods4cars.com ) while driving, at speeds of up to 40 km/h (28mph) with a single touch of the button. Additionally the top can be controlled from the key fob remote, also with one-touch convenience and up to the full range of the radio signal. No changes are necessary to the remote system and no extra fob is required. It is possible to control top and windows separately as well as one-touch close all windows from the switches inside the driver’s door.

Furthermore, automatic locking and unlocking of all doors can be programmed as well as an extended mode, which allows turning the engine on or off while the top is still in motion. The module can be completely disabled with a simple key combination, if necessary.

Each module comes with a standard USB port and ships with a USB cord. Firmware updates and module parameter configuration can be done with any Windows laptop. Updates are available free of charge. The USB cord can be installed with the kit in a way that allows update and configuration at a later time, even without having to gain physical access to the module itself.
